他的手指摩挲着书页边缘，声音平静得像在说一件注定的事：
“现在去哪都要看字。”
“路牌、车票、酒店名字……我看不懂，怕到时候找不到姐姐。”
顾曼桢喉咙一哽。
她没有接话，只是低下头，就着他翻开的手，开始教他认字。
贡布点一个，她念一个。

贡布跟着念：“猫。”
他的汉语发音很标准，只是声调略微平缓，带着藏语特有的尾音。
“姐姐就像猫。”他突然说，手指还点在那个“猫”字的配图上。
顾曼桢抬眼看他。
贡布歪着头，神情认真：“冷漠、高贵、不搭理人。”

“就有。”贡布笑起来，眼睛弯成两道月牙：
“还慵懒，漂亮，爱异想天开。都像猫。”
顾曼桢不知道该怎么接这句话。
她觉得这不是夸奖，但也谈不上贬低。
只是他说得太笃定，像在陈述一个她自己也未曾察觉的事实。
贡布没有继续这个话题。
他忽然起身，走到柜子那边翻找了一阵，回来时，手里多了一个小小的银铃铛。
铃铛很精致，表面錾刻着细密的吉祥纹样，下面坠着一截细细的红绳。
