两旁全是几十年的法国梧桐，树冠遮天蔽日，把喧嚣隔绝在外。
红色的夏利停在门口。

面前是一栋六层的小楼，外墙贴着米黄色的瓷砖，院子里种满了月季和栀子花。
风一吹，花香扑鼻。
没有县委大院那种常年缭绕的烟味，也没有那种压得人喘不过气的严肃感。
这里更像是个疗养院。
“哎哎，干嘛的？”
门卫室的窗户拉开。
秦大爷探出头，手里还捏着个紫砂壶，警惕地打量着林远。
这地方，十天半个月也不见个年轻男人来。
除非是来闹离婚或者家暴投诉的。

“大爷，我是新调来的，来报到。”

一米八的大个，长得精神，穿得也体面。

林远把烟塞进大爷手里，顺手帮他把窗户推得更大些。
秦大爷接过烟，别在耳朵上，那眼神瞬间变了。
三分疑惑，七分同情。
就像看着一头即将冲进盘丝洞的唐僧。
“小伙子，想不开啊？”
大爷摇摇头，按下了电动门的开关。
“进去吧，办公室在三楼，小心点，今儿里头火气大。”
林远笑了笑，迈步走进院子。
