上了船，风更大了。
霍铮领着她进了船舱，舱里两排条凳，中间一张窄桌子，条件比火车硬座还糙。
角落里坐着一个五十出头的男人，穿着洗得发白的军装，腰上围着一条旧围巾当护腰，脸色蜡黄的，正是王政委。
“老霍，你小子回来啦。”王政委看见霍铮，笑了一声。
“政委，您腰好点没？”
“火车上坐了三天三夜，老骨头都散架了，能好到哪去。”
王政委的目光往霍铮身后探了探，看到了林婉。
“这就是弟妹吧？”
“嗯。”
“叫啥名来着？”
“林婉。”霍铮说。
林婉往前走了一步，大大方方地喊了一声。
“政委好。”
王政委上下打量了她一眼，点了点头。
“好，好，模样周正，一看就是能过日子的。”
他又看了一眼林婉手里的包袱。
“这一路带了不少东西吧？”
“没带多少，都是些不值钱的家伙什。”
“嫂子带了一口铁锅。”小赵从后头冒出来，把背上的铁锅往前头亮了亮。
王政委乐了。
“铁锅都带上了，这是打算扎根啊。”
“那可不，嫂子的手艺绝了，政委您不知道，在火车上蒸的包子香得整节车厢的人都馋哭了。”
霍铮瞪了小赵一眼。
小赵识趣地缩了回去。
船舱里陆续上了人，孙干事扶着赵兰也进来了，赵兰找了个靠窗的位置坐下，手搭在窗框上，脸上的表情绷着。汽笛响了两声，船身一震，离港了。
头二十分钟还好，船顺着港湾的水道往外开，浪不大，稳当得很。
可一出了港湾口子，海面一下子就变了。
风从西北方向灌过来，浪头足有半人高，一个接一个地砸在船舷上，船身往左边一歪，又往右边一甩，来回地颠。
