陆战走到灶间，揭开锅盖。
锅刷得干干净净，但锅沿上残留着一层薄薄的油脂。
他用手指蹭了一下，放在鼻子底下闻了闻。
猪油。酱油。
他又看了一眼灶台角落。三个小碗摞在一起，碗底干净得能照出人影。
不是剩饭。
是专门盛的。
陆战从灶间出来，没有再进正房。
他走到墙根下，蹲在三个孩子面前。
“吃饱了？”
陆家旺拼命点头，嘴巴闭得紧紧的，生怕一张嘴就蹦出“红烧肉”三个字。
陆家妮没忍住，打了个饱嗝。
一股肉味。
陆战的眉头微微挑了一下。
他看向陆家兴。
陆家兴垂着眼睛，半天才说了一句：“她做的饭，比以前好吃。”
院门外突然传来宋翠花的大嗓门。
“陆战！陆战在家没？”
宋翠花风风火火地推门进来，身后还跟着两个看热闹的婆娘。
“陆战啊，我可不是搬弄是非的人，但有些事我不说，对不起我这张嘴。”
宋翠花双手往围裙上一擦，开始添油加醋。
“你家姜玉芬今天在村口，当着知青办和全村人的面，指着新来的林知青鼻子骂，什么小狐狸精、豆芽菜、来要饭的……”
“那小姑娘哭得跟泪人似的，多可怜哪。”
“还有，她今天买了肉，自己在院子里吃得满嘴流油，三个孩子蹲墙根看着，连块骨头都没捞着。”
她说着，特意加重了语气：“我亲眼看的，做不了假。”身后两个婆娘跟着点头。
陆战站起身，拍了拍裤腿上的土。
他没看宋翠花，而是看了一眼正房的窗户。
破报纸后面，一只眼睛正贴着缝隙往外瞅。
“赵婶。”陆战的声音不大，但院子里的人都听清了，“我家的事，我自己管。”"
