“逃出来的？”
苏慎之盯着她，“怎么逃的？那些人是什么人？他们把你关在哪儿？”
苏念安张了张嘴，却不知该怎么回答。
她能说什么？
说是那个顾怀仁的人绑的她？说她被关了十几天，每天傍晚那个男人都会来看她？
她什么都不能说。
“爹。”
她握住苏慎之的手，“回头我再跟您细说。娘呢？”
苏慎之这才反应过来：“你娘在里头，这几日她急得吃不下睡不着，你快去看看。”
苏念安快步往里走。
刚进二门，就听见一声哭喊。
“令仪！”
苏夫人踉跄着迎出来，脸色蜡黄，眼眶深陷，哪还有半分从前养尊处优的模样。
她一把抱住苏念安，哭得说不出话来。
苏念安也哭了。
母女俩抱着哭了许久，苏夫人才止住泪，拉着她的手，上上下下看了无数遍。
“瘦了……瘦了好多……”
她摸着苏念安的脸，“他们有没有打你？有没有——”
“没有。”苏念安摇头，“娘，我真的没事。我只是……只是被关着，没受苦。”
苏夫人看着她，眼泪又涌出来。
“你这孩子……你这孩子……”
苏念安把她扶进屋里，哄了许久，才把她哄住。
苏念安在家歇了两天。
第三天下午，陆砚来了。
她坐在窗边，远远就看见他走进院子。
他瘦了一圈，眼底青黑一片，下颌上甚至冒出些胡茬，哪还有从前清俊温润的模样。
他站在院子里，看见她，脚步顿住了。
苏念安起身，走到门口。
两人就这么隔着几步远，看着对方。"
