“从医学角度，”曹猛慢悠悠地说，“我已经可以出院了。”
那边没说话。
曹猛等了几秒。
“所以，”他问，“你为什么想让我回去？”
电话那头安静得像是挂了。
他看了一眼屏幕，还在通话中。
他能听见她的呼吸，轻轻的，有点不稳。
然后她开口，声音飘乎乎的，像是不太确定自己该不该说这句话：
“我想验证。”
“验证什么？”
“验证你昨天说的那个……那个偏方。”
曹猛愣了#一下。
然后他笑了，笑得压都压不住。
曹猛想起昨天那个场景——李主任弯着腰凑过来，离他两公分，然后突然直起身跑了，跑得比兔子还快。
“李主任，”他说，“你知道昨天你跑了之后，我笑了多久吗？”
那边没说话。
“我没想到，”他说，语气里还带着笑意，“那个永远面无表情的李主任，居然会——”
“别说了。”她打断他。
但没挂。
曹猛看着天花板，嘴角还翘着。
然后她开口，声音低低的，像是下了很大决心：
“曹猛。你回来。”
“为什么？”
沉默。
很久的沉默。
久到曹猛以为她不会回答了，正准备开口说点什么，却听见她开口了：
“因为我想亲眼看见。”
“看见什么？”
“你回来就知道了。”"
