她真的不是故意的。
她只是太难受了，太累了，太害怕了。
她哭着，不知道哭了多久。
门开了。
萧执走回来，手里端着一碗粥。粥很白，很稠，冒着热气。碗是新的，白瓷的，边缘有青花。
他把碗放在桌上。
“喝。”他说。
沈明珠抬起头，眼睛肿得像桃子。
“你……你去哪儿了？”
“隔壁饭馆。”萧执简短地说，“粥是现熬的，干净。”
沈明珠看着他。他的头发被江风吹乱了，衣服上沾着灰，脸上没什么表情，但眼睛里那种疲惫更深了。
她心里一痛。
“萧执……”她小声说。
“先喝粥。”萧执打断她。
沈明珠爬起来，走到桌边，端起碗。粥很烫，很香，米粒煮得烂烂的。她小口小口地喝，一口，两口，三口。
胃里暖暖的，没有恶心，她喝了大半碗，放下碗。
“你也吃。”她说。
“我吃过了。”萧执说。
两人沉默地坐了一会儿。
“对不起。”沈明珠轻声说，“我刚才……不是那个意思。”
“我知道。”萧执说。
“我真的很难受……”沈明珠的眼泪又涌了出来，“吃什么吐什么，浑身没力气……我怕……”
“怕什么？”
“怕孩子保不住。”沈明珠捂住脸，“怕我撑不下去……怕你……”
她说不下去了。
萧执站起身，走到她面前，蹲下身。
“听着。”他看着她的眼睛，“你不会死。孩子也不会死。我会带你们活下去。”
他的声音很平静，但每个字都像钉在木板上，坚定，有力。
