萧执站起身，把包袱背在肩上，伸手拉沈明珠。
“走。”
两人挤进人群。人太多，沈明珠被挤得东倒西歪。萧执一手护着她，一手拨开前面的人，硬生生挤出一条路。
终于挤到船边。
船老大是个黑脸汉子，正站在船头收票。萧执把票递过去，船老大看了一眼，挥手：“上去吧。”
船不大，挤满了人。萧执找了个相对宽敞的角落，让沈明珠坐下。
“坐稳。”他说。
沈明珠点头，抓紧船帮。船开动了，缓缓离岸。河风吹过来，带着水汽的凉意，吹散了码头的嘈杂。
她松了口气。
过了河，离京城就更远了。
离那些追兵，也更远了。
船到河中央时，沈明珠胃里又开始翻搅。她捂着嘴，强忍着恶心。
萧执坐在沈明珠身边，眼睛盯着河面，耳朵却竖着，听船上的人说话。
“听说没？镇北将军谋反了。”一个男人说。
“哪个镇北将军？”
“萧执啊！前几天夜里，京城都烧红了半边天！”
沈明珠的手猛地收紧。
“真的假的？”
“千真万确！我表兄在禁军当差，说是贤王亲自下的令，要抓活的！”
“抓到了吗？”
“没呢！跑了！现在全国都在通缉！”
沈明珠低下头，手指掐进掌心。
萧执的手伸过来，盖在她手上。他的手掌很热，很有力。
“别听。”他低声说。
沈明珠点头，但她控制不住。那些话像针一样扎进耳朵里。
“听说悬赏一万两黄金！活的！”
“我的天，一万两！”
“要是能碰上……”
“得了吧，人家是将军，杀人不眨眼的。碰上也是送死。”"
