众人散去后，秦烈独自坐在营房门口，看着夜空。

秦烈回到小院时，已是深夜。
苏晚还没睡，就着油灯在缝补衣服。
见他推门进来，连忙起身：“秦大哥，你回来了。”
“嗯。”秦烈卸下皮甲，肩头的伤口隐隐作痛，白天厮杀时太过专注，现在才感觉到疼。
苏晚看到他肩头渗出的血迹，眼圈一红：“你又受伤了……”
“皮外伤。”秦烈坐下，“狗儿怎么样了？”
“胡医士下午来过，说烧退了，再养几天就能下地。”苏晚端来热水，小心地帮他清洗伤口，“你们今天……遇到事了？”
秦烈简略说了发现北哨尸体和遭遇胡人哨探的事。
苏晚听得脸色发白，手都有些抖。
“别怕。”秦烈握住她的手，“咱们在黑石堡，暂时安全。”
